The Ladies Leadership event was packed with women who love life and are living it together. We shared stories, played games and fellowshipped with one another to help cultivate long lasting friendships. Our speakers covered topics like: Victory in Finances, How To Be A Woman of Strength and What Are Your Labels. Our leader Jacquie Francis covered the topic "Uniquely and Authentically You" which spoke directly to the heart of so many women in the room. The room was filled with laughter, tears and deep emotions.
"I honestly didn't know what to expect when I heard about this event, but I am so glad that I went! The day was power packed and so much fun! From photo booths to custom-made gifts to sweet treats coupled with powerful speakers- (some even flew in from across the country), I truly felt honored to be there. I came into Ladies Leadership with a lot of scars, hurts, and questions. As I listened to each speaker, their transparency about their struggles and victories helped me lower my defenses and realize I wasn't alone. I didn't even realize some of the deep pain I was feeling until I heard it from a different perspective. Through a time of reflection and application, I was able to begin a healing process, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something so impactful. I can't wait for the next one!" -Alison Marques
“I was so grateful to be invited to Ladies Leadership 2016. In my opinion, I find the opportunity to spend time with ladies, who genuinely want to better than self in order to better those around them, a rarity. I loved being able to bring home with me applicable, simple tips on how to make a decision to be stronger woman inside. Even more, I love hearing and seeing how my kids talk after I applied moments learned at Ladies Leadership. I choose to be a stronger, even when I have my moments I don’t want to be strong. I gain strength in remembering the other ladies I talked to at Ladies Leadership, who are fighting the same fight for playing irreplaceable role in other people’s lives.” -Rachel Gray
"I am so glad I had the courage to take a plane for the first time ever, and by myself I might add, to get to Ladies Leadership. I was really scared to do that but I gained so much this weekend and grew closer to the ladies on the Boston team. Thank you to all the amazing women who made this weekend possible, I can’t even imagine how much hard work went into it. To hear women like Kelly Olsen and Lis King talk about the struggle they've gone through and to know how they pulled through that was so inspirational. To know I’m on a team full of women who have all struggled and are willing to be so open about it is such a blessing. I’m excited to finally belong to something where you don’t have to wonder if people care about you and it’s amazing." -Kacie Miller
